When completing your transaction, please use the word “Donation” in the boxes for both the student's first name and last name.

School Supply DriveThis online giving opportunity is part of a new partnership with Educational Products, Inc. (EPI), which provides families with a convenient option for purchasing back-to-school supplies. It also allows the district to host an online school supply drive to assist families who may be unable to purchase their own supplies.

Sherman ISD enrolls about 7,850 students, and approximately 75% of those live in low income households. Many of these families rely on or could benefit from donated school supplies.

Contributions or purchases made through will support economically disadvantaged students across the district in Pre-K through eighth grade.

The pre-packaged supply kits contain items from the approved Sherman ISD school supply lists and will be delivered to the SISD Service Center before the start of school. Staff will take the packs to Sherman schools, where teachers, counselors and other staff will distribute them to students and families in need.

“Each year, our Bearcat Boosters donate back-to-school supplies to help our students get a strong start to the school year,” said Julie Kerr, director of Partners in Education for Sherman ISD. “This is a new, convenient option for the community to show their support and provide resources to help all students be successful.”

Sherman ISD will also partner with Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas and other community organizations to provide free school supplies and other needed items to SISD families at the district’s second annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 3 at Sherman High School.
