The Sherman ISD Board of Trustees got an early look at the design of replacement campuses for Crutchfield Elementary and Fairview Elementary during its regular October meeting.

The new schools, approved by voters as part of the May 2023 bond program, will replace the existing campuses for the start of the 2025-26 school year.

Dozens of staff members, parents, students and community members contributed their input and ideas to the design process for each campus. Architect VLK used their suggestions to create and present design, site and floor plans.

A feedback form opened in October for the community to provide feedback on the designs. Responses will be utilized to finalize the designs so that construction work can begin at both sites in the spring.
