On Monday, April 6, 2020, Sherman ISD will continue providing free Grab and Go curbside meals to all children ages 18 years and younger. Families will be able to pick up breakfast and lunch from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Grab and Go meals will be distributed in a drive-thru fashion. No one will need to exit their personal vehicles. 

Sherman ISD is changing the requirements for the distribution of our free Grab and Go meals at campuses and community locations, following new guidance from the state of Texas. New rules from the Texas Department of Agriculture require that parents picking up free meals for children – without the children present – must show documentation for the children that the meals are for. 

Acceptable documentation includes:

• A school-issued student ID,
• A report card,
• A birth certificate,
• A copy of the SISD Food Service email that was sent to SISD parents on April 3, 2020, as a verification message you received from Sherman ISD.

Please note that documentation is not required when children come with a parent to pick up a meal. All children 18 and under can receive meals at one of the locations below.

Please stay in your vehicle and practice social distancing when coming to campus to receive a grab and go meal or when receiving food at one of our community sites.

The following SISD schools and community sites are providing grab and go meals daily from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm at campuses and 10:00 am-11:45 am at community sites.
