Sherman ISD offers the highest starting teacher salary in Grayson County, a minimum starting wage of $15/hour and a comprehensive benefits package. In addition, the district offers a longevity incentive, retirement match and employee assistance program, among other benefits.

The job fair is a great opportunity for individuals to learn about the wide variety of careers available in public education. That includes those who are interested in teaching but have not yet earned their teaching certification. Sherman ISD provides on-the-job training and support to qualified teacher candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree.
