As a result of school days missed due to ice the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 3, Sherman ISD will need to utilize one bad weather make-up day. 

School will be in session and classes will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023. This date was listed on the 2022-23 academic calendar as a teacher workday and possible bad weather make-up day and is now needed as an instructional day. 

In addition, the early release on the last day of school, Thursday, May 25, will need to be extended by 15 minutes at elementary and early childhood campuses. No additional instructional time will need to be made up.
