Due to icy road conditions, all Sherman ISD schools and offices are closed Wednesday, February 1. Classes and extracurricular activities are canceled. 

As a reminder, the district notifies parents, students, and staff of a school delay or closure through phone calls, emails, and text messages. In addition, information is posted on the SISD Facebook page, Twitter, and on SISD’s website (www.shermanisd.net). Local media outlets are also notified. SISD will not call, text, or email to confirm that school is in session. 

The district will continue to monitor the forecast and road conditions with the safety of our students, families, and staff as our top priority.
