After a solid season at the Yard, Bearcat Baseball players were tabbed for All-District and State honors, including three First Team and three All-State Academic picks.

"We put a lot of focus on skill development and the quality of play our young men put on display each game when they are on the diamond," said Chris Anderson, Head Baseball Coach. "Earning All-District Honors in a District like 10-5A is a huge honor due to the caliber of baseball that is played. Proud is an understatement!"

Seven players received All-District honors, and Logan Williams, Landon Gutierrez and Connor Clark made the First Team All-District list. Twelve made the Academic All-District list, and three went above and beyond to make the THSCA Academic All-State list: Drake Dodder, Jacob Lester and Brandon Fine. Dodder earned a spot on the Academic All-State ELITE Team, meaning he had near-perfect scores in every category.

"One of our Pillars of Success in our program is discipline," Anderson said. "Discipline in all facets of our daily lives. The guys that excel in the classroom prove that they are disciplined on and off the field. So proud of each of these young men!"
