Community Members Become Principal for a Day

Sherman ISD welcomed parents, community members and local business owners to campuses across the district Nov. 17 for our 2021 Principal for a Day program.
Honorary principals experienced a "day in the life" of a Sherman ISD principal by visiting classrooms, meeting with students, and working alongside the campus administration.
Allison West, director of Belden Street Montessori, joined Principal Leda Roelke at Crutchfield Elementary.
Cassie Taylor, retail operation manager at First Texoma National Bank, joined Principal Steven Traw at Dillingham Elementary.
Sherman ISD Trustee Adam Cernero joined Principal Daniel Matejko at Fairview Elementary.
Krystal Hutcheson, assistant director of development for Austin College, joined Principal Deloris Dowell at Fred Douglass Early Childhood Center.
Jay Sawyers, chief operating officer of the Carrus Health Behavior Hospital, joined Principal Santos Flores at Neblett Elementary.
Kenny Walker, general manager of Sparklight, joined Principal Mindy Schoen at Sory Elementary.
