Dear SISD families, staff and community,

Today, the Sherman ISD Board of Trustees met to finalize my hiring as superintendent of schools. I am honored and humbled by their support and eager to work alongside them to lead our great district.

I am excited to continue to serve in the community that has been my home for 26 years. Sherman is where I have lived and raised my daughters while working in various leadership roles in Sherman ISD and Anna ISD. I consider it a great privilege to have the opportunity to further our great Bearcat legacy.

As we move forward together, I want to emphasize my belief in the importance of strong relationships and collaboration to help all of our students reach their full potential. 

To our parents and families, I am grateful for the trust you place in us to educate and care for your children. I pledge to work with you to provide the best educational opportunities possible to help your students thrive and grow into well-rounded, successful adults. 

To our dedicated staff, I am continually inspired by your passion and commitment to our students and community. You are the backbone of our district, and the love and care you show for our students helps them navigate school and their life beyond.

Finally, to our community members and partners, your support is invaluable. Whether through volunteering, attending school events or contributing in other ways, your involvement strengthens our schools and enhances the educational experience for all students. I look forward to strengthening our partnerships as we work together to move Sherman ISD forward. 

To the entire Bearcat family, I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to all we will accomplish together. We are Sherman! #OneTeam
