Arts Fest 5K and Bubble-K Fun Run Supports SISD Students and Teachers

Child running in the SEF Bubble Run

The 19th annual Sherman Education Foundation Arts Fest 5K and Bubble-K Fun Run was held Saturday, September 21 at Piner Middle School in Sherman. Through sponsorships and race entry fees, SEF raised over $36,000 to support a variety of educational enrichment opportunities for Sherman ISD staff and students!

The event saw over 500 participants this year. The overall male winner was 34-year-old Ryan Hill with a time of 17:53. The overall female winner was 13-year-old Sherman Middle School cross country athlete Lilah Smith with a time of 21:26. Lilah was also the overall female winner last year. View event photos.

The event couldn’t happen without the generosity of many community partners. A special thank you to the top four sponsors: Bob Utter Ford Lincoln Kia, Rayburn Energy Station (formerly Panda Power), Core Construction and True North Consulting Group.
