The Major Saver fundraising campaign benefiting the Sherman Education Foundation (SEF) runs through October 3. During the annual campaign, elementary and middle school students sell discount cards to family, neighbors and friends to enhance the educational environment at their school!

The Major Saver discount card is filled with 17 local restaurant and family entertainment coupons. Each card costs $10, and the Sherman Education Foundation gets 50% from each sale in the fundraiser. The money is then allocated to SISD schools based on the number of cards sold at each campus.

The Sherman Education Foundation provides creative educational programs, educational aids, faculty and staff development opportunities, curricular enhancements, and other innovative solutions to meet identified educational needs of Sherman students which are beyond the basic educational program of the Sherman ISD. 

Cards are available from any Sherman ISD elementary or middle school student. Cards can also be purchased online at www.majorsaver.com; a school and student seller can be designated with your online purchase.

Students receive prizes based on the number of cards sold. This year for the first time, Major Saver has partnered with the Bearcat Grill to provide lunch and an ice cream treat to all students who sell at least seven cards.
