Due to current road conditions in our rural areas and additional inclement weather forecasted, all Sherman ISD schools and offices will be closed on Thursday, February 24, 2022. All after school activities for Thursday are also canceled.  The District Collaborative Visioning Committee meeting on Thursday, February 24th, will be rescheduled for another date. 

Coaches will communicate the status of athletic events through the SportsYou app, and any competition that gets rescheduled will be posted on our athletics website. 

District staff are in contact with local meteorologists, city and county law enforcement, and neighboring school district leaders to monitor weather and road conditions to make this decision.  We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the rest of the week.
