ICYMI: Informational Resources for Middle and High School Families
Two recent events featured valuable information for families of middle and high school students:
On January 21, SISD hosted a webinar about college and career readiness assessments like the SAT, ACT, Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2) and ASVAB, and how you can help your child prepare.
On January 22, Sherman High School hosted an advanced academics parent information night with details on Advanced Academics (AA), Advanced Placement (AP), dual credit and CTE dual credit courses. Information was also shared about Bearcat Collegiate Program, which allows incoming ninth grade students to complete an associate degree from Grayson College by the time they graduate from SHS.
