Student Earns Superior Rating at State VASE

Sherman High School art student Yuselmy Jimenez earned an Superior Rating (III) at the State VASE Contest in San Marcos on April 26.

Jimenez and her artwork Family Nostalgia was one of the 2,300 chosen for state out of the 33,000 entered earlier this year. Her Superior Rating was just shy of being eligible for a Gold Seal and shows she displays "highly advanced technical skill in the production of quality works of art." Congratulations!
