SHS Cheer Team Performs at Dallas Luncheon

The Sherman High School cheer team was invited to attend the Spirit of Generations Luncheon in Dallas on February 27 to celebrate Sherman High School 1972 alumna and former SHS cheerleader, Elaine Agather.

Hosted by The Senior Source, the awards luncheon was started in 1994 to honor leaders who have significantly contributed in "thoughts, words and deeds" to all generations of the greater Dallas community. The luncheon serves as a fundraiser for the organization, which has raised more than $22 million to help older adults live with dignity, purpose and security.

Agather is a Texas trailblazer and currently serves as the chairwoman of the Dallas Region for JPMorganChase and Central Region Head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

The cheer team was asked to perform to represent Agather's Sherman roots as she was celebrated for her lifelong legacy in the North Texas region.
