Sherman High School Prepares Students for High-Demand Local Careers

Sherman ISD's new electronic engineering technology (EET) program is laying the foundation for students to enter the growing local semiconductor industry.

This four-year program teaches the fundamentals and provides students with the opportunity to bolster their resume with a electronic engineering technology level 1 certification.

The lab at Sherman High School was funded by a grant from Workforce Solutions Texoma and the Sherman Economic Development Corporation, and the program is supported through a partnership with Grayson College.
