SISD to Host Informational Webinar on Feb. 18 Regarding STAAR
Join Sherman ISD for an informational webinar on Tuesday, February 18 to learn more about the STAAR tests students take each year.
The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) is the standardized testing system used across multiple grade levels to measure a student's academic performance relative to their grade level. Testing begins in third grade and continues through End-of-Course exams at the high school level.
The webinar, scheduled from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 18, will include an overview of the exams, including upcoming testing dates, subjects and grade levels, as well as preparation tips and strategies for supporting student success at home.
