Sherman ISD Names New Principal of Neblett Elementary

Sherman ISD is excited to welcome an experienced former principal with proven success improving student outcomes as the next leader of Neblett Elementary School.
Todd Frazier currently serves as the assistant principal at Carlisle Elementary School in Plano ISD and previously served as an elementary principal for 10 years in Anna ISD.
As a principal of Anna’s Rattan Elementary School, Frazier implemented the Leader in Me program to develop student leadership and cultivate a positive campus culture. Frazier also built a positive track record of enhancing student achievement and boosting school accountability ratings. Frazier centered staff development around students’ academic, social and behavioral needs, and he worked to establish strong relationships between the campus and the broader community.
In Plano ISD as an assistant principal, Frazier established a campus program that increased parental involvement, specifically among fathers and other male role models. He also served as a campus testing coordinator, overseeing the organization and implementation of district and state testing.
Frazier started his 24-year career in public education in a PISD classroom, where he taught eighth grade his first year and fourth grade for six years. He tailored curriculum to meet the varying needs of students, and he led districtwide staff training on data analysis.
As the next Neblett principal, Frazier is focused on improving student performance, supporting staff development, and strengthening connections with families.
“I’m extremely excited to be joining the Neblett Knight family,” Frazier said. “Elementary education is the foundation for future success, and it is this belief that drives me. We're not just teaching and training children, we are teaching and training future adults for success!”
Frazier earned his master’s degree from Concordia University and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from The University of Texas at Dallas. He spent his first five years after college working as a planning engineer.
In his spare time, Frazier enjoys woodworking, baseball, and playing bass guitar for his church. He has been married to his wife Audrey for 26 years, and they have three children.
