Santos Flores to Return to Lead Neblett Elementary
The 2025-26 school year will bring changes in campus leadership to Neblett Elementary and Sherman Middle School.
Neblett Elementary Principal Karrissa Norris has been named Special Populations Compliance Coordinator for Sherman ISD, replacing the current coordinator. Mrs. Norris has considerable past experience developing systems, interventions and supports to address student and staff needs in the areas of academics, behavior and classroom management. SISD is grateful for her dedicated service at Neblett and looks forward to the ways she will continue to support the district in this new capacity.
Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, Mr. Santos Flores will return as principal of Neblett Elementary. Mr. Flores previously served as campus principal from 2020 to 2023 and brings valuable knowledge, experience and a strong connection to the Neblett community. For the past two years, he has served as principal of Sherman Middle School. Mr. Flores’ familiarity with students, staff and families at Neblett will ensure a smooth leadership transition and provide continuity as the campus prepares for the year ahead.
SISD will begin an immediate search for the next principal of Sherman Middle School, looking for another leader who will bring a strong commitment to academic excellence, student growth and family and community involvement.
