Girls Powerlifters Place at State Meet
The Sherman High School Girls Powerlifting wrapped up their season with two top-five placements at the State Meet on March 21!
Ariana Jarillo lifted in the 105 weight class and finished in 4th place with a total of 760 pounds, and Paige Phillips finished 5th in the 114 weight class with a total of 755 pounds.
In addition, Isabella Wilkerson was selected for a $1,000 THSWPA scholarship.
Sherman lifters at State also included Savannah Bond, Tiffany Cabrera, Alyssa Cain, Geovanna Centeno and Aryana Hernandez.
The Boys Powerlifting team will compete at their State Meet March 27-28 in Abilene after qualifying ten lifters.
