Sherman High School Celebrates Homecoming
Sherman High School celebrated Homecoming on Sept. 19 as our Bearcats took on the McKinney North Bulldogs!
The SHS Band and Hi-Steppers put on a great performance before the game, and at halftime, we crowned Homecoming royalty! Congratulations to our Homecoming King and Queen, Eli Newton and Happy Sung!
The Bearcats fought hard and kept the game close in the first half against the Bulldogs, but they fell to McKinney North, 33-14, in the end.

Congratulations to the finalists who were announced at the revue on Sept. 18: Trey Aleman, Cesia Avila, Marisol Castaneda, Nicole Fuentes, Christopher Kim, Shepherd Martin, Eli Newton, Angel Pleitez, Noah Reed and Happy Sung.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Homecoming Parade & Tailgate on Sept. 17, and a special shout-out to Tyson Foods and First United Bank for their donations to provide the food during the event.
