Board of Trustees Reorganizes Leadership
David Tarvin and Wendy Vellotti were sworn in for new three-year terms on the Sherman ISD Board of Trustees at the May 19 meeting.
The incumbent trustees were declared re-elected to Place 6 and Place 7, respectively, after both filed for re-election and no other candidates submitted applications. The Board approved an Order of Cancellation at its February meeting to cancel the May School Board election.
Later, the Board voted to reorganize its leadership for the coming year, electing Jennifer Shelby as Board President, Nathan Cain as Vice President and Tarvin as Secretary.
