Elementary Music

Sherman ISD elementary students receive 50+ minutes of instruction in music each week from a full-time music teacher at each campus. In these classes, students have access to basic instruments and learn how to read music, sing using the solfege scale, as well as perform on stage. Students play drums, ukuleles, keyboards, and many other handheld instruments, and they can display their talents during music programs hosted at their campus for families.
