Summer Camps
Sherman ISD offers low-cost programs to help keep students active and engaged over the summer. Families are responsible for transportation to and from each camp.
Summer Sports Camps
- Dates and Time: Vary by sport
- Location: Sherman High School (please see specific camp location)
- Cost: $25 for two-day camps and $35 for three-day camps (non-refundable)
- Ages: Incoming 2nd-6th Grade, plus additional grade levels for select camps
These camps help prepare young athletes to play sports in Sherman ISD. Coaches will focus on fundamental skill development and terminology in a fun environment. Participants should wear clothing and shoes appropriate for each camp. Please report directly to the camp location and bring your own sport-specific equipment if you have it. Please ensure you have completed the medical release form prior to the start of camp.

Fine Arts Summer Camp
- Dates: July 14 &15
- Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (8:30 a.m. breakfast)
- Location: Sherman High School
- Cost: $25 for two days
- Ages: Incoming 3rd-5th Grade
- Medical Release Form Required
Incoming 3rd-5th graders will spend their morning creating art, moving to music, and learning drama lessons at Sherman High School! Drop-off and pick-up will be at the front of the school. Please ensure you have completed the medical release form prior to the start of camp.
CTE Summer Camp
- Dates: July 14 &15
- Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (8:30 a.m. breakfast)
- Location: Sherman High School
- Cost: $25 for two days
- Ages: Incoming 6th-8th Grade
Students will participate in career-based, hands-on learning activities as they explore some of the CTE programs offered at SHS. Offerings include animal science, robotics, criminal justice, construction, culinary arts and family consumer science. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the back of the school at the CTE entrance.
Summer Enrichment Camps
- Dates: June 1-11 & June 15-25, 2026, Monday-Thursday
- Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Location: Parker Elementary
- Cost: $40 per class per session (non-refundable)
- Ages: Incoming 1st-6th Grade
These camps combine the joy of playing and the wonder of learning! Camps range from fine arts to STEM activities and more! You can sign up for one or both sessions.
