Help Support SISD Students in Need

Did you know approximately 73% of Sherman ISD students are considered economically disadvantaged? Many of their families rely on or could benefit from donated school supplies. A back-to-school drive encourages community members to make monetary donations to support students across the district in Kindergarten through eighth grade.

Funds will be used to purchase pre-packaged supply kits, which contain items from the district’s approved school supply lists. Staff will take the packs to Sherman schools, where teachers, counselors and other staff will distribute them to students and families in need.

To make a donation, please contact Julie Kerr, director of Partners in Education, at jkerr@shermanisd.net or 903-891-8733. Thanks in advance for your consideration and generosity.
