Students who will turn three or four years of age by September 1 of the current year can pre-register and complete the pre-application process for Pre-K, Early Head Start, and Head Start. The entire pre-application process is online and will require WIFI access and a technology device (computer, laptop, tablet) to complete.

Important Dates and Information for Pre-K, Early Head Start, and Head Start

In order to finalize the pre-k application process, parents are required to provide additional documentation Wednesday, April 14 (3:30 pm - 7:30 pm), or Thursday, April 15 (8:00 am to 1:00 pm). During this time, you will submit your application requirements, and if needed, the student language test may be administered. To finalize the pre-k application process, parents/guardians must do this portion of the process in person at the old Sherman High School located at 2201 E Lamar St. Sherman, TX 75090. Please park in the side parking lot to enter the school by the gym entrance off Chaffin street. See map for parking location directions.

Due to Sherman ISD's COVID-19 protocols, individuals must wear a mask/face covering to enter the school and adhere to social distancing guidelines. We ask that one parent/guardian come in person to complete their child's application and only bring your child if they are an English second language student and will need to take the language test. The setup will accommodate room for one person to sit at a table to utilize a computer. For additional information please see the enrollment eligibility requirements listed below.
