Greetings!! This will be my first year working in Sherman ISD, and I am honored to be a part of the team. I am coming here from Ocean Springs High School, in Ocean Springs, MS, where I served as a school counselor for the past three years. Prior to that, I worked at the high school in D'Iberville, MS, and also at Freedom Elementary in St. Robert, MO. Before I became a school counselor, I served in the military as an intelligence analyst. I grew up in Malawi, Arica, but have also spent time living in Missouri, Mississippi, Arizona, Arkansas and North Carolina. I acquired my undergraduate degree at Harding University, followed by my master’s degree in counseling at Missouri Baptist University. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family. I'm married and have three teenagers. One is serving as a medic in the Army in Germany, another just left for college at Missouri State, and the youngest is a junior in high school. My favorite hobbies include travelling, shopping, hiking, watching movies, and of course, eating. I look forward to getting to know the students, their families, and my co-workers here at Sherman High School. Please reach out if I can be of help.
