My name is Tenise Blackshear. I am 36 years old, and I have been a bilingual teacher in Sherman ISD for 13 years. I have taught in all grade levels- Kindergarten through 4th grade. I graduated from Texs A&M University-Commerce in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and a minor in Spanish. In 2010, I graduated from TAMU-Commerce with a Master's degree in educational administration and obtained my principal certification. I have a husband, Brady, and a 3-year old daughter, Quinn. Spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. Some of my other hobbies/interests/favorites include painting, reading for fun, listening to 90's music, and traveling when I can.
