School Hours

7:40 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Doors open at 7:20 a.m.
All car riders should be picked up no later than 3:20 p.m.

Arrival and Dismissal Areas

Morning Arrival: All car riders and walkers will enter through the front (West) doors. Bus riders are the only students that will enter through the cafeteria doors.

Afternoon Dismissal: 

Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade students will dismiss from the front door by the main office at 3:15 p.m.
 
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade students with older siblings in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will dismiss from the north doors facing Pecan Grove with their older siblings.
 
3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will dismiss from the north doors facing Pecan Grove at 3:15 p.m.

Tardies

A student will be considered tardy if he/she is not in their classroom at 7:50 a.m. A student will receive a principal's lunch detention when they have accumulated 7 tardies and for each subsequent tardy within a 9-week grading period. It is the responsibility of each parent to make sure your child is in the classroom ready for academic learning at 7:50 a.m. sharp!

Breakfast

Breakfast will be served in K-5th grade classrooms at 7:50 a.m.

Attendance

We need and want your child in attendance every day, but if your child is truly sick, please notify the school by 9:00 a.m. This will possibly keep him/her from receiving an unexcused absence. When reporting an absence, please let us know the reason for the absence and the probable length of the absence. Please send a written note and/or a doctor’s note documenting each day of illness when your child returns to school. Accumulation of excessive unexcused absences may result in failure to attend school charges to be filed.
