Summer Meal Program
Sherman ISD is committed to increasing access to nutritious meals when school is not in session.
The summer meals program provides healthy, no-cost meals over the summer break to children and families who may rely on school meals during the academic year.
WHO: Any child 0-18 years old or any enrolled student up to 21 years old
WHAT: Free breakfast and/or lunch
HOW: Just show up! There are no eligibility requirements to participate.
There is no application, registration or ID needed.
Children do not need to live in Sherman or attend Sherman ISD schools, but they must be present and consume meals on-site. No to-go meals are provided.
For security reasons, any family visiting a Sherman ISD campus while a summer program is in session must enter through a secure front entrance and check-in as a campus visitor prior to proceeding to the cafeteria to receive free meals. Questions should be directed to Sherman ISD Student Nutrition at (903) 891-6426.
