Summer Meal Program
Sherman ISD partners with the Texas Department of Agriculture each summer to feed local kids in need. The Seamless Summer Option program provides healthy, no-cost summer meals to children 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years of age. This program ensures students who rely on school meals during the academic year are provided a good source of nutrition all summer long.
There are no eligibility requirements to participate. Any child 0-18 years old or any enrolled student up to 21 years old can receive free meals. Meals must be consumed on site. Please note that any family visiting a Sherman ISD campus while summer school is in session must enter through a secure front entrance and check-in as a campus visitor prior to proceeding to the cafeteria to receive free meals. Questions should be directed to Sherman ISD Student Nutrition at (903) 891-6426.
