Advanced Connections for Employment and Success (ACES)

Students in the ACES program receive instruction and support in these key areas:

• Independent Living Skills: Building skills for daily living, budgeting, health and wellness, self-advocacy, and managing personal responsibilities.
• Career Exploration & Employment Skills: Exploring career interests, developing job skills, creating resumes, interviewing, and supported work experiences.
• Community Participation: Engaging in community activities, volunteering, recreation, and developing social connections.
• Transportation Training: Learning to travel safely and independently in the community.
• Social Skills: Building communication skills, relationships, and teamwork.
• Goal Setting & Transition Planning: Setting personal goals and working toward a successful adult life.
