Telehealth at Home

Sherman ISD families can access Telehealth at Home through our ongoing partnership with Children’s Health℠ Virtual Care. Telehealth at Home is a convenient virtual care option accessible from home or while traveling.

With your permission, your child can video chat with a provider, get diagnosed and have prescriptions sent to your pharmacy – all from home.

Under the Telehealth guidelines, this service may be used for the following conditions:

  • Asthma and Allergies
  • Coughs, Colds and the Flu
  • Earaches and Sore Throat
  • Fever
  • Headaches
  • Head Lice
  • Rashes and Skin Irritations
  • Pinkeye

Telehealth services will be billed to your insurance provider or to Medicaid. No insurance? No problem. After your visit, Children’s Health will bill you directly. Most families qualify for a discount, and no student will be turned away for a visit.

Children’s Health Virtual Care is available when students are at home sick, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – even during holiday breaks.

To schedule an appointment, call 844-4TELEMED (844-483-5363).
