Support for Families

Sherman ISD partners with Communities in Schools (CIS) to deliver customized support to families across the district. Students and families may reach out to CIS coordinators at SISD campuses, and coordinators help families connect with local organizations and resources such as tutors, food banks, counseling and more depending on the family's needs. School counselors may also refer students to CIS coordinators for additional support. Services are monitored and adjusted every year.
