Circle of Success Recognition Event
The Circle of Success recognizes the best of Sherman ISD by awarding innovative campus projects through sponsorships and identifying exceptional students and educators. The Recognition Event is usually held in mid-spring.
The selection of teachers, students, and innovative campus projects begins early in the year. Sherman High School and Jefferson Learning Center educators are encouraged to nominate students on the basis of their character, leadership and service. The students that are ultimately selected for recognition are asked to choose a SISD educator that has been an inspiration to them along their educational journey to be honored alongside them.
Grant requests for innovative campus projects are submitted by Sherman ISD teachers and staff for funding consideration through sponsorships generated through Circle of Success. At last year’s event, the selection of 102 grant requests totaling over $135,000 was announced for implementation during the 2025-2026 school year.
