Board Meetings
The School Board can only act by a majority vote at a legally called public meeting. Regular meetings are usually held on the third Monday of each month at the Sherman ISD Service Center (2701 N. Loy Lake Road, Sherman). Special meetings are called as needed. The majority of agenda items are considered at regular meetings at approximately 6:30 p.m. following an executive closed session.

Meeting notices, agendas, minutes and other relevant documents are available via the website linked below. Meeting notices are posted at least three business days before the scheduled Board meeting date.

Public Presentations to the Board
Public comment is scheduled shortly after each regular meeting begins at 5 p.m. Those who wish to speak must sign in prior to the start of the meeting. See procedures for speaking at a Board meeting below. Texas state law does not allow the Board to deliberate or take action regarding any subject that is not included on the agenda or that has not been properly posted.
