Tommy Hudspeth Athletic Complex
The athletic complex was named for Tommy Hudspeth, who worked as a teacher, coach and administrator in Sherman ISD for 25 years and led the Bearcat football team to 25 wins from 1975-77 without a loss. The track was named for Ed Hunt, a teacher and football and track coach who led the Fred Douglass Panthers to the Class 2A state football championship in 1964 with a perfect 12-0 record. The stadium itself does not have a separate name.
