Attendance Zones
Sherman ISD serves children who live within our district boundaries in Grayson County, Texas, as well as children whose families receive approval for an out-of-district transfer request.
The school your children will attend depends on where you live within Sherman ISD, as well as their participation in any special programs.

Attendance Zones Changing for 2025-26 School Year
Sherman ISD works with outside demographers to monitor housing and enrollment trends and receives updated enrollment projections annually. This analysis was used to develop new attendance zones for the 2025-26 school year, which account for current and anticipated enrollment growth. The new zones prepare for the opening of new schools, help balance enrollment in existing schools and increase operational efficiency.
The new zones linked below were approved by the SISD Board of Trustees during their regular meeting in April 2025 and will go into effect for the 2025-26 school year. Any student who lives more than two miles from their assigned SISD campus qualifies for bus transportation to and from school.
