Strategic Plan
Sherman ISD's strategic plan, developed through the Texas Strategic Leadership (TSL) program, envisions the desired student experience and identifies strategic priorities and initiatives to achieve student outcome goals.
Focus areas include:
- Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS)
- Instructional Capacity Building (Coaching)
- Talent (Recruitment, Development and Retention)
The strategic plan was developed through a series of meetings over the course of the 2023-24 school year involving a committee of SISD staff, School Board members, parents and community members. The process was facilitated by Region 10 Educational Service Center (ESC) in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Sherman ISD will implement the strategic plan over the next three years, working to align district and campus systems with key initiatives. Region 10 will continue to provide metrics and other support as SISD tracks progress toward student outcome goals.
