New Elementary Campuses
Four new elementary school buildings are enhancing the learning experience in Sherman ISD, thanks to voter support of the 2023 bond program.
That includes three new schools that opened for the 2025-26 school year: new, larger replacement campuses for Crutchfield and Fairview elementary schools and a brand-new elementary school in northwest Sherman called Parker Elementary School. Plans are in the works for a second new elementary school in south Sherman that will open for the 2028-29 school year.
The new schools feature more spacious and flexible classrooms, safety and technology upgrades and other modern resources designed to encourage collaboration, innovation and creativity and support student growth and success.
Each project was funded without an increase in the tax rate due to the high-tech industry growth in Sherman.
