Dual Credit

Dual Credit at SHS

Dual credit courses at Sherman High School are offered through Grayson College. Dual credit courses allow high school students to take Grayson College courses and receive credit for their high school diploma and their college degree.  Most courses are taught on the high school campus by Grayson College professors in a hybrid setting (a mix between face to face instruction and online learning), while other technical dual credit courses are taught at the college campus. 

Dual Credit courses beginning the 2024/2025 school year will all be online with a Grayson professor and a Sherman ISD staff member facilitating the class on the Sherman High School campus.

This unique opportunity is of great benefit to many of our Sherman High School students.
