Eighth graders interested in participating in the Bearcat Collegiate Program in high school must complete an application and take the TSIA2 English college placement exam.

The 2023-2024 BCP application will be open for current eighth grade students November 28 - December 15, 2023.

Save the date for the parent information night on November 28, 2023, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

• Have a 85 average in CORE classes the 1st semester of 8th grade (by Christmas Break) - English, Math, Science, and History

• Have a “Met”/”Masters” score on all 7th grade STAAR tests

• Have a “On grade level” score on 8th grade IReady in the 1st semester of 8th grade (by Christmas Break)

• Teacher Recommendation

• Completed BCP parent/student contract
