Mr. Robert Goff
Robert Goff comes to Sherman High School after working as a Teacher for Plano, Community, and Richardson ISD. During his tenure in Plano Robert started a Mentorship Program for young men, began the AP experience for middle school students, and was a coach. Prior to Plano, he served for two years at Community High School. While at Community High School he started a PBIS program.
Mr. Goff brings to the position ten years of successful teaching and mentoring experiences. He has worked with numerous at-risk students and has experience in dealing with exceptionally challenging students in a variety of settings. He has extensive experience in motivating young students to push themselves in coursework and succeeding in life.
His successful teaching and mentoring have allowed him to serve in numerous educational leadership capacities. He has served as the Community Liaison, PBIS committee chair, coach, and has sponsored a variety of other groups.
Mr. Goff earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A & M Kingsville. He then attended Stephen F. Austin and earned a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration. He holds teaching certifications in Life Science (8-12), Composite Science (8-12), and Physical Education (EC-12).
