The Sherman Ex-Students Association is open to graduates and former students of Sherman High School or Fred Douglass. The Association is organized to:

  provide opportunities for further education for graduates of Sherman High School in the form of scholarships;

  preserve the cultural and literary histories of both Sherman High and Fred Douglass Schools  through a collection of artifacts;

  recognize, unite, inform, and involve all in the support of education and fellowship.
