Legal Framework
The Legal Framework is a template that summarizes state and federal requirements for special education by topic. It is a statewide leadership project in which the Texas Education Agency partners with the Region 18 Education Service Center. It empowers those who use it to be able to provide to every child the benefits of a free appropriate public education. The Legal Framework includes an A-Z index, frameworks, a glossary of special education terms and acronyms, links to statutes, citations, websites, guidance and resources. -
