I just thought I would share a little bit about me.
I grew up in Van Alstyne- way back when it was a small town! I now live in Howe with my husband and two children. My son is 14 and my daughter is 11. We have 32 acres of land with cows and horses. We live on the highest point in Grayson County and have the most beautiful sunsets every night.
I graduated from Van Alstyne High School in 1987. Then I spent some time at Texas Women's University (TWU) in Denton. In December of 1991, I graduated with my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I then received my M. S. from TWU in May of 1994 in Speech-Language Pathology. I have been an SLP for 22 years.
I have been with SISD for 15 years. In those 15 years I have worked at the elementary ,intermediate, middle school and the high school levels. I also serve as the lead speech-language pathologist for the district, as well as the assistive technology evaluation team leader for the district. Prior to coming to SISD, I worked at Texoma Medical Center's Reba McEntire Center for Rehabilitation.
