Sherman ISD enrollment grew by 419 students between 2018-19 and 2022-23, an increase of 5.7 percent.

Sherman ISD enrollment is expected to be 9,000-plus in five years and approaching 11,000 in 10 years.

By Fall 2032, there are predicted to be an additional 2,992 students enrolled in Sherman ISD. By Fall 2027, an additional 1,277 students are expected to be enrolled.

With current student growth patterns in SISD, the district will surpass its elementary capacity within 3 years; its high school capacity within 7 years; and its middle school capacity within 11 years.

Sherman ISD has 20 actively building subdivisions and 20 future subdivisions.

The district has roughly 500 lots currently available to build on, with over 6,000 additional lots in the planning stages.

Groundwork is currently underway on over 2,000 lots across 12 subdivisions.

There are over 600 multi-family units currently under construction within the district.

There are nearly 7,500 additional future multi-family units in various planning stages, including 750 single family rental units.
