Mr. Daniel Matejko
I am honored to start my 4th year as the principal of Fairview Elementary. Fairview is a school full of hard-working staff and students that SOAR with Falcon pride!
This school year marks my 20th year in education. I have served in various roles throughout my career, including as a classroom assistant, classroom teacher, assistant principal, support center staff and as a building principal. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX and a Master of Education Degree in Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.
I am a firm believer in the power of positive relationships and that through these relationships every child can be successful. I am devoted to continually exploring new ideas to meet the needs of all staff and students at Fairview and am excited to work alongside our amazing students, parents, staff members, and community members.
I want all of you to know that my door is always open to you. I welcome your conversation and input during this year. I challenge us all to keep our students as the primary focus of our work. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you all better over the course of the school year. I can’t wait to celebrate our collective successes during the 2023-2024 school year and beyond!
