P.E. Coach Mike Gillum leaves legacy through the annual event, which has raised over $350,000 for the fight against heart disease since 1999.

Trustees replaced their previous nine goals with three to concentrate on areas especially impactful for students and the community.

The state has approved the district's waiver to cover three missed school days.
