book takes a close look at gifted kids from the inside out. It presents ways to help
gifted underachievers, perfectionists, and those who are just plain bored. Learn how to
create a gifted-friendly classroom.
July 15, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Gifted Education 30 Hour Institute (5 days)
Prior to assignment in the program, teachers who provide instruction and services
that are part of the program for gifted students must have a minimum of 30 hours of staff
development including nature and needs of gifted/talented students, assessing student
needs, and curriculum and instruction for gifted students. Other teachers who are
interested in G/T training are welcome to select these sessions as well.
Must attend all five days to receive credit.
